The increased acceleration offered by high-powered e-bikes puts great stress on hubs and spokes.

Our e-bike-specific wheelset uses DT Swiss' Hybrid hub, which employs reinforced bearings and a steel freehub body for maximum reliability. By adding thicker spokes and our ultra-tough MC32 rims, this wheelset is more than up to the task of even the most extreme e-adventures.

If each wheel performs a different function and is subjected to different forces, why do most brands try to sell you the same rim for the front and rear wheels?

ALUMINUM RIM PROTECTION

Rim blowouts occur when the tire is squeezed between an external object and the edge of the rim. Our updated rim design increases the critical bead area by 50%, distributing impacts, and combines with a rounded edge profile for superior puncture resistance.

ASYMMETRIC RIMS

Asymmetric rims allow us to balance spoke length and tension. This means fewer spoke sizes, more balanced tensions, and stronger, more reliable wheels.

DIRECTED SPOKE HOLES

By matching the angle of the spoke hole to the angle at which the spoke exits the rim, we significantly reduce stress on the spoke nipple. Although this technology requires additional design and manufacturing work, the result is a much more reliable wheel with less chance of spoke breakage.

REINFORCED SPOKE LOCATIONS

This is one of the most stressed areas of the rim. Reinforcing these areas increases rim reliability without adding excessive weight.

J-BEND MC SPOKES

J-Bend spokes offer greater reliability and fatigue resistance for aggressive downhill riding.

SECURE NIPPLE LOCK

We apply a threadlocker to each nipple separately. This fluid creates increased friction between the threaded portion of the spoke and the nipple, eliminating air between them, ensuring the spoke does not lose tension and allowing for adjustments if necessary.
